FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER (FRC)

The BLEDSOE COUNTY FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER is an outstanding grant program that has existed in Bledsoe County for 30+ years. Our sole purpose is to help students and families with area resources to provide basic needs that are beneficial to their lives. I am Michaela Campbell, FRC Coordinator. Although this is my first year serving as the FRC Coordinator, I have worked in Bledsoe County as an A.W.A.R.E. Counselor and know many of the students and their families. My office is currently located on the BCHS campus, which has proven to be an excellent location to reach the most students. We also house a Food Pantry that is maintained with community donations and is accessed daily by students who need us most. I am excited about this new position and will work diligently to serve the students of Bledsoe County. Please don't hesitate to contact me if I can assist you in any way. (For grant specific information, please contact Ms. Michelle Rains, FRC Director.)

2024-25 FRC at a Glance

FRC had a successful year helping the students across our district by supplying over 40 Thanksgiving meals and other food support throughout the year. With the help of our generous community sponsors, we were able to provide over 150 kids with Christmas gifts. FRC worked with our community partners to host two individual bed build days, where 30 kids in our county will be able to receive new beds at home. Additionally, FRC worked with Samaritans Feet and the TN First Lady, Maria Lee to host a shoe event at each school in the district. All students received a new pair of socks and shoes along with a message of hope.
